OK, my posts lately are a bit out of order, but you get the idea. We had an awesome Christmas this year. Now that both kids are a little older and understand what's going on it was so much fun! The day before Christmas Eve was just a relaxing, hang around the house kind of day. We never even got dressed! That night we let the kids open a few presents that we had bought them and Rhett and I exchanged a few things. On Christmas Eve, we braved the snow and ice and went to Littlefield to eat lunch at Rhett's grandmother's house. After that we had supper and opened gifts with my family. I wish Chris and Luana would have been able to make it! When we got home that night we left cookies, milk, and a little note for Santa and all went to bed. The kids woke up early to see what Santa brought them and were amazed when the cookies and milk were gone...and Santa had even wrote them a note! We let the kids play with their new toys for a while then we headed to Muleshoe to eat lunch with Rhett's parents and siblings.
